A couple of months ago we published a story by Elaine who’d had her cardiac arrest during a long distance bike ride, from Manchester to Blackpool.
One year on she’s given the ultimate 2 fingers up to the grim-reaper by completing the event this year!
Well done Elaine for giving inspiration to others and showing that there is life after cardiac arrest!

The bike ride organisers and marshals organised for Elaine to be escorted the last half mile to the finish in recognition of her achievement of completing the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride, one year on from her cardiac arrest. It has been compiled into this short video…
