Q: What relevant medical procedures have happened?

What tests did you have, have you needed any operations/procedures or been referred to other specialists? See next question regarding any medical devices you might of received

Responses with name, age at SCA and time since

Electrophysiological study; eventual implant of ICD the next month. A further arrest at home 8 weeks later, treated by ICD; eventual prescription for a beta blocker later in the year. Some fine tuning of ICD, too.

I had a miss diagnosed heart mummer at 7 by 27 it was found by luck I had a coarctation of the aorta which unknown at the time lead to DCM and on one occasion last year thinking I was fit woke up in Papworth following SCA

I’ve had MRI scans in St Barts hospital in London but nothing was found to be wrong with my heart at all. I’ve only had an ICD fitted.

I had a Dye CT scan which I vaguely remember having in ER. I had an angiogram and echo. Lots of blood test in hospital. An ICD implant. Medications. Only folow is ICD clinic.
