I collapsed aged 33 with pulse of 276, had a cardiac arrest in A&E and spent 3 weeks in hospital, an ICD was fitted and I was diagnosed with ARVC. Have good days and bad, days but this group helps me through them by showing me I’m not alone and also I feel good when I’m able to help other sufferers through their bad times. I’m just thankful my 5 year old son hasn’t got the faulty gene, but he will still be monitored every 4 years which is reassuring
