Save the date! Our next national cardiac arrest conference, Life Without Limits, takes place on Saturday, 15th May 2027, at the Leonardo Hinckley Island Hotel.
After the incredible success of 10 Years Together, which brought almost 200 of our community under one roof, we are returning to the same venue for what promises to be another unmissable weekend. Block out the dates in your diary now. This is an event not to be missed!
Overview
Friday 14th May 2027 – Official ice breaker social evening
Saturday 15th May 2027 – Conference day and evening celebration
Venue – Leonardo Hinckley Island Hotel, Hinckley, Leicestershire
For those who have joined us before, the Friday night gathering has always been an unofficial highlight. This time, we are making it official. Arrive on Friday and join us for a relaxed ice breaker social evening, the perfect way to settle in, meet some friendly faces and start the weekend as you mean to go on. More details to follow.
What to Expect
The full schedule and speaker line-up are still taking shape and will be announced in due course. Expect some of the same, with favourite elements and familiar faces returning, plus something new. As always, there will be expert speakers, interactive sessions, the chance to learn life-saving skills, and plenty of time to connect with others who simply “get it”.
One thing we can confirm already: the brilliant magician Trevor Cline will once again be on the agenda. His close-up magic has wowed our community at previous events, and we are delighted he is returning to amaze and entertain us once more.

Venue – Leonardo Hinckley Island Hotel

We are returning to the venue that served us so well for 10 Years Together. Nestled in the heart of Leicestershire and surrounded by beautiful countryside, the four-star Hinckley Island Hotel offers a central location and excellent facilities, making it an ideal venue for our conference.
The hotel offers two on-site bars, one with an outside terrace, and a Bar and Grill. It also provides wheelchair-accessible rooms, toilets, and lifts to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests.
By train, the hotel is just under an hour from London Euston. By car, it is just off the M1, M6, and M69 motorways and a short drive from Birmingham and East Midlands Airports. With over 360 rooms and complimentary on-site parking, it makes sense to stay over and make a proper weekend of it, especially with the ice breaker on Friday night. Details of any discounted room rates will be shared nearer the time.
Why Come?
Don’t just take our word for it. At 10 Years Together, over a third of attendees shared their feedback with us, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. At earlier events, 92% rated the day 5 out of 5 (and the rest 4 out of 5), and 98% said the event had been helpful.
The theme that comes through time and again is the power of being in a room with people who truly understand. Many survivors describe feeling like a “unicorn” after their cardiac arrest, until they walk through the doors at one of our events. Here is what attendees have said about 10 Years Together and our previous gatherings…
“I’ve felt like a unicorn this past year. Suddenly I found myself in a room full of unicorns.”
“[The] opportunity to be with other people, who understand what we have been through, was extremely special.”
“Meeting other survivors and their families, it was like therapy as everyone just gets it.”
“Best experience since my SCA by far.”
“Better organised than most corporate events.”
“The evening entertainment was fantastic – exactly what we needed after such an emotional day.”
“I was attending by myself and stayed the whole weekend but found that there was always someone happy to chat with me.”
“So uplifting to be surrounded by people who relate, empathise and understand.”
“Simply one of the best weekends of my life!!!”
Whether you are a survivor, co-survivor, rescuer, healthcare professional, or supporter, and whether it is your first or fifth event, you will be made very welcome.
Save the Weekend
Friday 14th and Saturday 15th May 2027. Put it in your diary, tell your family, and start looking forward to it. This is the only dedicated event of its kind for those affected by cardiac arrest in the UK, and if previous years are anything to go by, it will be a weekend to remember.
Keep an eye on this page, our community and our email updates for ticket, schedule and speaker announcements.
We can’t wait to see you there!
