Transposition

This is a term used to mean that two structures (usually the aorta and pulmonary artery) are in the opposite position to normal such as in ‘Transposition of the Great Arteries’ (TGA). See also ‘Congenitally Corrected Transposition Of The Great Arteries’.

Narrowing of the tricuspid valve, resulting from a congenital defect of the valve leaflets or disease of the valve
