Short QT Syndrome [SQTS]
This is a very rare genetic disease of the electrical system of the heart, associated with risk of abnormal heart rhythms and sudden cardiac death.

Severe sepsis
Overwhelming infection that causes heart blood vessel and cell dysfunction.
Septal defect
A hole in the wall of the heart separating the atria or in the wall of the heart separating the ventricles.
