A team usually consisting of a group of physicians, anaesthetists, and senior nurses, that can be summoned urgently to attend patients with deterioating medical conditions

Levels of care

Used as a descriptor for the dependency of a hospitalised patient. Level 0 refers to standard ward-based care.
