Join us for an empowering and transformative experience on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, as we celebrate a decade of memories, growth, and community with 10 Years Together!
—this is a milestone you won’t want to miss!
10 Years of Peer Support
The initial SCA UK Facebook group was established on May 1, 2015, following 13 survivors and co-survivors gathering at the Mulberry Bush pub in London. Currently, we manage two groups: one focused on survivors and the other, Chain of Survival UK, dedicated to co-survivors and individuals impacted by resuscitation events. Collectively, they comprise a community of well over 3000 members!
Discover a supportive community, gain valuable insights from renowned speakers, participate in interactive workshops, and forge meaningful connections with fellow attendees.
We have secured both of the main conference spaces, which will not only mean the venue is almost exclusively for us but allow us to all gather in one room for the main presentations, have a dedicated exhibition space, a private room for HeartWize to teach basic CPR/AED skills, a quiet room, and two decent-sized rooms for workshops and interactive sessions.
The event will start at 9 a.m. for registration, with the main presentations starting at 10 a.m. Lunch and plenty of refreshment breaks will ensure you stay energised. We aim to finish late afternoon so everyone can recover and prepare for the evening.
We hope as many as possible will stay for the evening social gathering, as this is the highlight for many. It is a chance to relax, enjoy a drink, and be in the company of many others who “get it.” Of course, you’ll also enjoy a three-course meal, a talk and entertainment from the fantastic magician Trevor Cline.
For the first time, we have a healthcare professional track. This will allow those who help us to learn about the new Resuscitation Council UK Quality Standards and good practices implemented around the UK and beyond.
Be a part of this unique opportunity to enhance your recovery journey and contribute to advancing cardiac arrest support.

Why not check out some feedback we received at our previous events?
“I’ve felt like a unicorn this past year. Suddenly I found myself in a room full of unicorns.”
“I felt like the whole day was there to answer all of my unanswered questions”
“We had someone on our table whose event was in July, and it was interesting to see their transformation through the day.”
“Overall I feel the event was very well organised the content and presenters were very good and kept me interested throughout the day”
“Everything was so much better than I thought it would be. Extremely pleased & look forward to the next one”
“Very informative, absolutely loved it. My husband and daughter also found meeting other co survivors incredibly helpful. If I had to say something negative it would be that the time went far too quickly. I would have loved another day.”
“I was attending by myself and stayed the whole weekend but found that there was always someone happy to chat with me.”
“Thanks all for the event. Being a few years post-arrest I found myself attending more to support other survivors and enjoyed doing this.”
“A reminder to myself of why it is so important to be more of an active member of this group, I’ve spent the last 6 months or so cutting myself off from most things.”
“So uplifting to be surrounded by people who relate, empathise and understand”
“The peer support that occurred in the co-survivors room was amazing to be part of. I think a lot of people left that room with hope and some strategies”
“All the presentations were excellent and really aided our understanding.”
“As a co-survivor, having the ‘plumbing and electrician’ side explained in plain language was so helpful.”
